Italy Accommodation Guide - Car Hire Italy
Italy is a famous destination for travelers. With lots of historical places and beaches make this country a must place to visit. Accommodation in Italy is rather expensive so plan well before visiting this county. More cheap way is hostel or what they call is agriturismo. I am going to describe some accommodation options here so you can choose one to your budget.
Hotels
Like other parts of the words, hotels are same in Italy. You will find hotels starting from 1 star to 5 stars in all the major cities and prices are according to that. Smaller town have more 1 and 2 star hotels. But don’t think that these hotels are under standard. Actually they are well organized and hosts are very friendly but you don’t often find some luxurious things however these are good place for your accommodation purpose.
Hostels
If you want to save some money than hostels are best for you. Most low budget hotels are actually hostels but they called it hotel or guesthouse. You can find cheap room here and more often you can get a shared room. These are cheaper but the facilities are good and you can enjoy living here.
Agriturismo
There is other name of agriturismo like farm holiday. This is generally a working farm house which you can hire for a day or for your whole trip. These are situated at the countryside and its mean that you got the change to stay with nature. These are cheap and excellent way of accommodation and you got a chance to see or some extra things here like tasting wine or riding on horse. Just because you are living with nature so you are away from the center of the city so it is best to Cheap Car Hire Italy so you can visit all the places while living these farms.
Villas and Other Vacation Rentals
If you want to stay with you family and have children and you want some extra space for them, it is best to hire a villa. There are different kinds of villas available in Italy according to accommodation size and the place. You can find a reasonable price villa alongside mountains or in the center of the city.Convents/Monasteries
As a good largely Catholic country, Italy is full of convents and monasteries. Many of them have a history of opening their doors to weary travelers, and for some that has taken a modern twist. Some convents and monasteries now play host to not only pilgrims, but travelers of any sort. They can be in cities or in the countryside, and they often are incredibly cheap. They are also notoriously safe places to stay, which can be very appealing (especially for solo female travelers). The catches can include having a curfew, participating in prayer times, or separate sleeping quarters for men and women. If none of those things are unsavory to you, staying in a convent or monastery is an excellent and unique way to travel through Italy.
Guesthouses/B&Bs
Many hotels in Italy called themselves guesthouses or B&Bs. Like B&Bs in other part of the world like England this doesn’t mean you will have a heavy breakfast. There is typical breakfast of Italian but there are some modern B&Bs which are providing the proper breakfast. These are cheaper than hotels but you have to ask the facilities and offerings first.
